YOUR LAWN HAS BEEN SEEDED
Lawn Care is a team sport!
Now that the seed has been planted it is your time to take the ball to the end zone. For BEST results please follow the instructions below:
Watering Instructions
-
Water twice a day for 10-15 minutes at about 10:00 a.m. and 2:00pm for 2-3 weeks until the seedlings have emerged. The seed must be kept moist.
-
If the temperatures are in the 80’s, you should water three times each day: 10:00 a.m., 2: 00p.m, and 5:00pm
-
After the seedlings have emerged, water ½” per area every other day to develop deeper root growth.
Mowing Instructions
-
Cut your lawn whenever it needs to be cut. (Do it yourselfer)
-
Do not skip or change your cutting date. (If you have a lawn cutter)
Traffic
-
Avoid ALL traffic to seeded areas. For BEST results eliminate or significantly reduce all foot traffic for best results.
Please Note
-
It takes 2 to 3 weeks for the new seedling TO EMERGE out of the seed case. Therefore, one cannot expect a full stand of new grass in any less than 5-6 weeks.
-
The importance of proper watering CANNOT BE STRESSED ENOUGH! The seed needs water to sprout; the seedling must have water to survive; the maturing grass plant needs water to develop. Proper watering is the direct factor to achieving results from the seeding service.
-
We do not seed with inferior, tall-growing varieties of grass to create a “Quick show”. We want durable varieties, and that means it will take time for the seed to germinate and to grow enough for you to see them.
HAVE PATIENCE- THE SEED WILL COME UP
